This page is written for Neighborly Pest Control Service and applies to the Website described above. It is not a substitute for advice from your own legal or privacy professional.

01

Information We Collect

We collect information you choose to provide and limited technical information created when you use the Services. The information we request depends on how you interact with the website and the request you make.

Information you provide may include your name, phone number, email address, the message or property details you submit, your preferred contact method, and any other information you choose to include. If you call us, we may receive the phone number associated with the call and the details you share during the conversation.

We may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location derived from an IP address, pages viewed, referring page, date and time of access, and basic interaction or error information. We use this information to operate, secure, and improve the Services. We do not ask you to submit sensitive personal information through the website.

02

How We Use Information

We use information for the purposes described when it is collected and for ordinary website and business operations. These purposes may include:

We may use the information you submit to respond to your request, communicate about the concern you described, help connect you with an independent local service contractor, maintain request records, provide customer support, prevent misuse, troubleshoot errors, and improve the clarity and usefulness of the website.

We may also use information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect the rights and safety of users and others, investigate fraud or security incidents, and enforce our terms. We do not use your information to make decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance eligibility, or health care.

  • Responding to calls, forms, and messages.
  • Routing a request to an independent contractor or service provider when appropriate.
  • Operating, maintaining, measuring, and improving the website.
  • Sending service-related communications you request or that are necessary to complete a request.
  • Detecting, preventing, and addressing security, fraud, and technical issues.
03

Lead Requests and Independent Contractors

Neighborly is a referral service. When you ask to be contacted about a pest-control concern, we may share the information needed to respond to your request with independent local service contractors, lead-routing partners, or communications providers. Those contractors operate independently and may have their own privacy notices and terms. Please review their policies and ask questions before sharing additional information or hiring anyone.

Submitting a request does not require you to hire a contractor, and it does not create a contract for services. If you do not want your request shared for referral purposes, do not submit the form; you may still visit public pages or call us with a general question.

04

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Services may use essential cookies, local storage, server logs, pixels, or similar technologies to remember basic preferences, support security, understand technical performance, and measure page activity. We do not currently promise that every browser or device will expose the same controls, and third-party tools may change over time.

You can limit cookies through your browser settings, clear stored data, or use device-level privacy controls. Blocking essential technologies may affect navigation, form behavior, or other website functions. If we add analytics, advertising, session-recording, or other non-essential technologies, we will update this Policy and provide available choices where required.

05

How We Share Information

We may share information with categories of recipients that help us operate the Services or complete a request. We do not rent your personal information as a standalone mailing list. Sharing may include:

Service providers may process hosting, cloud storage, website, email, phone, form, analytics, security, customer-support, or technical information on our behalf. Independent service contractors or referral partners may receive lead details so they can contact you about the request you submitted. We may also share information with professional advisers, insurers, or corporate transaction participants when reasonably necessary.

We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or legal process; to protect rights, safety, property, or the Services; to investigate suspected fraud or abuse; or with your direction or consent. We may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.

06

California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident and the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to our processing, you may have rights to know or access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, request deletion, correct inaccurate information, opt out of sale or sharing where applicable, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable, and receive equal service for exercising a privacy right.

The categories we may collect include identifiers and contact information; commercial or service-interest information; internet or other electronic network activity; approximate location; and inferences or request details you choose to provide. We use these categories for the purposes described in Sections 1 and 2 and may disclose them to hosting, communications, security, analytics, and independent referral providers. We do not knowingly sell personal information of children under 16.

To make a California request, email privacy@neighborlypestcontrolservice.us with the subject line "California Privacy Request" or call (930) 249-0579. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and request. You may use an authorized agent when permitted by law; we may request proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.

07

Your Choices and Opt-Outs

You may choose not to submit personal information, although we may be unable to respond to a request without the necessary contact details. You may unsubscribe from non-essential marketing email by using the unsubscribe link in the message or emailing privacy@neighborlypestcontrolservice.us. Service-related communications may continue when needed to answer a request or maintain the Services.

If you receive a promotional text message from us, reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to promotional communications is not a condition of purchasing a service. You can also adjust browser cookie settings, clear local storage, use device privacy controls, or contact us to ask about available opt-out choices.

We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals in a uniform way. Your choices may be browser- or device-specific, and clearing cookies can remove a preference signal.

08

Data Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including responding to requests, maintaining business and legal records, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type and purpose of the information.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and our operations. No website, transmission, storage system, or method of electronic communication is completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive information through a public form or ordinary email.

09

Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at privacy@neighborlypestcontrolservice.us and we will review the request and take reasonable steps required by law.

10

Third-Party Websites and Services

The website may contain links, phone connections, or embedded features operated by third parties. A link does not mean Neighborly endorses or controls that third party. Information you provide to a third party is governed by that party’s privacy notice and terms, not this Policy. Please review those documents before using an outside service.

11

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services, technology, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects the way we use information, we will provide additional notice when required. Your continued use of the Services after an update means the revised Policy applies to future use.
